IBM AI certification paths
IBM SkillsBuild and IBM Training credentials for AI fundamentals and watsonx-era skills.
IBM offers SkillsBuild (often free at entry tiers for eligible learners) and IBM Training credentials tied to commercial products including watsonx.
What to verify
- Eligibility rules on SkillsBuild vs paid Training enrollments
- Whether a credential is a digital badge, course completion, or proctored assessment
- Product focus (data science foundations vs watsonx assistant tooling)
Typical learner fit
- Learners seeking vendor-neutral foundations with IBM-branded proof
- Partners in IBM ecosystems who must document training hours
For vendors beyond the big four cloud stacks, skim catalogs from Coursera, NVIDIA, and open universities only via their official sites—we do not duplicate those lists here; use Best AI certifications for role framing.
